Location: Ennis, Tx
Monday- Friday 6:00am to 4:30pm
Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining our facilities and equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our premises. You will work alongside a dedicated team and report directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of company facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as HVAC system checks, plumbing repairs, and electrical work.
- Address emergency maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Repair and maintain equipment, machinery, and tools as needed.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of common areas, including restrooms and break rooms.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
- Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete larger maintenance projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in maintenance work, including knowledge of various trades (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and experience in troubleshooting.
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor tasks.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
