About Us

The Ellis County Detachment 1452 is officially chartered with the Marine Corps League Inc. as a nonprofit corporation as of June 15, 2017, and is, therefore, a Veterans Service Organization, as is the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. The Ellis County Detachment 1452 provides membership to Marines, Navy Fleet Marine Forces (FMF) Corpsmen and Navy FMF Chaplains who are currently serving or are Veterans. We also support their widows and direct family members. This Detachment is doing great things for our community and we are always seeking new members to be able to help us do more and to create change worth pursuing in the Ellis County and surrounding rural areas.
