Named for the porch in McKinney, Texas where the members first practiced - it resonates to the key of E-Flat. Duane Brown and Rudy Littrell form the core of the band, entertaining with their unique blend of acoustic "porch music", including folk, blues, early country, jazz and original tunes. As "angst-free" acoustic musicians, they play serious music without taking themselves too seriously.
12:30pm: The Purple Hulls
Identical twins Katy Lou and Penny Lea Clark of The Purple Hulls were raised on a working family farm in the deep piney woods of East Texas, but that didn't stop the Texans from finding their way to the hills of Tennessee, specifically, Music City, where they began touring with various country artist and writing songs for Nashville's largest publishing company, Sony Tree.
3:00pm: Acoustic Sound Hounds
A Texas bluegrass band from Kaufman County that plays traditional and contemporary bluegrass, country and old gospel, adding its own flavor to the music: Bluegrass with a Twist!
4:00pm: Quebe Sisters
When the Quebe Sisters from Texas take a stage, and the triple-threat fiddle champions start playing and singing in multi-part close harmony, audiences are usually transfixed, then blown away. It's partly because the trio's vocal and instrumental performances are authentic all-Americana, all the time, respectful of the artists that inspreid them the most.

This singing duo is not hard to spot in their colorful, vintage dresses, petticoats and pillbox hats. For years these two sisters were heard most weekends singing their sibling harmonies and adding to that special magic that the Fort Worth Stockyards holds.
